Hand carved and hand painting, I collected in Bali during the late 1990's. ~~~ RANGDA ;She is the personification of Durga, wife of Shiva, the Queen of Witches and Goddess of Death. The Temple of the Dead in every village in Bali is dedicated to Rangda. Durga is an extension of the destructive aspect of Shiva. Shiva and Durga together represent death and decay and the germination of life. W
